Julia Alonso, Head of Image Analysis

Julia Alonso studied telecommunications engineering at the University of Sevilla, Spain. The focus of her Master’s thesis was the development of efficient software algorithms for the prediction and simulation of electromagnetic fields. Since then, she worked more than 4 years as application development engineering in the field of object recognition and high throughput data analysis for cell biology. Currently Julia Alonso is lead developer of fully automated object recognition algorithms and thereby enhancing the state-of-the-art recognition quality substantially.

Rafael Rodríguez, Head of Software Development

Rafael Rodríguez studied telecommunications engineering at the University of Sevilla, Spain. His Master of Science was in the field of web application development. Focusing on UML modeling and designing of large-scale web platforms and databases for high data throughput applications. Since then, he worked for more than 3 years on the implementation of this model and the development of advanced object recognition algorithms for life science assays. At wimasis, Rafael Rodríguez is lead developer for the integration of efficient interaction applications and image analysis toolsets.

Kilian Schramm, CEO

Kilian Schramm studies medical engineering and technology oriented economics at the TU Munich, Germany. The focus of his graduate work is in the field of printed electronics. Simultaneously to his studies, he worked for nearly 3 years as marketing, sales and development contributor for a Swiss-based financial service provider. Currently Kilian Schramm is managing director at wimasis and in lead for all marketing, sales and organizational aspects of the company.

Carlos Urquizar, Head of Processing Center

Carlos Urquizar studied telecommunications engineering at the University of Sevilla, Spain. Since then, he worked for more than 8 years in numerous advanced technology projects. For the last 3 years he is conducting high-tech consulting for his clients and helps corporations to efficiently develop highly sophisticated solutions. At wimasis, Carlos Urquizar is in lead for the development project management.
